Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the ARTATVA platform (artatva.co.uk and associated subdomains), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ARTATVA Ltd (company number: [placeholder]).

2. The platform

ARTATVA is a marketplace that connects verified performing artists with clients who wish to book them for events. ARTATVA is not the artist; we are a technology and compliance platform that facilitates bookings.

3. Artist accounts

Artists must complete our five-badge verification process before accepting bookings. Verification includes DBS check, PLI confirmation, contract signature, and backup assignment. ARTATVA may suspend or remove artist accounts that fail to maintain compliance.

4. Client accounts

Clients must provide accurate information when submitting briefs. By confirming a booking, clients agree to the platform’s Master Service Agreement and the per-event Statement of Work. Payment is processed via Stripe; ARTATVA holds funds in escrow until delivery.

5. Fees and commissions

ARTATVA charges a platform commission on each confirmed booking (Standard: 20%; Pro: 15%; Enterprise: 12–18%). Commission rates are deducted from the artist’s fee at payout. Clients pay the quoted fee inclusive of commission.

6. Cancellations

Cancellation terms are set out in the per-event SOW. ARTATVA’s backup protocol is activated on any artist-side cancellation. Client-side cancellations may be subject to kill fees as specified in the contract.

7. Limitation of liability

ARTATVA’s liability is limited to the platform commission received on the booking in question. We are not liable for the quality of the artist’s performance, event outcomes, or third-party services. Artists and clients carry their own insurance obligations.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
